15Slide a 6mm garnet onto the uncoiled section of the 20-gauge wire. If necessary for length, coil more of the 26-gauge wire tail around the uncoiled section of the 20-gauge wire, then with the coiled end of the 20-gauge wire, pull the wire down the side of the garnet. Wrap the coiled wire three times around the uncoiled 20-gauge wire. Trim the 20-gauge coiled wire tail (Figure 5).

16Slide a 6mm garnet onto the 20-gauge wire with the bead against the coiled section. Make a 90° bend in the 20-gauge wire, leaving enough space for another coiled wrapped loop (Figure 6).
